This month we will have a special co-host: behavioural scientist Myriam Hadnes.
Discover the ways behavioural economics can help create an improved employee journey.
— Behavioural economists study human decision making by combining insights from psychology and economics. They aim to explain why we would sometimes behave irrationally without even noticing it. Based on real-life experiments, scientists find evidence for emotionally driven choices and develop strategies (so-called nudges) that will help us to better stick to our plans by making subtle adjustments.
In this meet-up, Myriam who holds a PhD in behavioural economics from the Goethe University Frankfurt, will share surprising evidence about our preferences and professional behaviour that will change the way you look at the employee journey! Myriam will explain why sometimes we would rather work for free than being paid, how a salary increase can lead to a drop in performance and how words can boost employee engagement.
If you have questions or topics in mind that you would like to discuss, feel free to reach out via email: email@example.com For more information about Myriam please see: https://about.me/myriam-hadnes
